In mid-August, three of our family started our 5-day donkey trekking tour. Our accompanying donkey was Carolina. While the first day only included a first introductory round together with Tinne, things really started on the second day. Every day was a different experience and we made friends with Carolina very quickly. From the third day in particular, there were some narrow and sometimes steeper paths up and downhill. The great thing about Carolina was that we could let her run between us on these trails without a rope. Carolina held our "flock" together, so to speak. It stopped when I went ahead and stopped in between and waited when Maxi and Uli stayed a little behind. All accommodations were great, most of them even equipped with a pool and we were always wonderfully cooked with 3 or 4 courses in the evening. Breakfast was always very good and plentiful. Since Tinne provided us with a map and Garmin navigation system, it was always easy to find the right way even in somewhat confusing areas. Thank you, dear Tinne, for the great organization and the wonderful tour with Carolina. That was clearly our holiday highlight and we'd love to come back!

In July 2020, traveling was not self-evident and despite our enthusiasm and early booking January we hesitated for a long time to leave. That we would be in nature all day long and that the Corona measures are followed very closely in Italy, in combination with the a reassuring message from Tinne about the measures on the donkey ride, convinced us to do so leave. And we do not regret that ... Everything was well organized on site, the training our donkey Fiamma was immediately a nice introduction and Tinne explained everything clearly. After an overnight stay in the wonderful Landuccia we left the next day: beautiful nature, day trips that varied between pleasant challenge and extremely relaxed, very nice agriturismos for overnight stays, delicious dinners and breakfast! We walked between 4 and 8 km each day and hardly encountered anyone (at a meeting with the temporary owners of Salveggia after). Tuscany has acquired a new dimension for us, the walks in the varied nature in combination with taking care of our sweet donkey Fiamma and the obligatory dive in the afternoon pool made it even for an almost five-year-old in summer Italian temperatures a fun, active holiday. Thanks for the excellent organization, Tinne!

In August we went out for a week with Stella. We thought it was fantastic, adventurous and sometimes it was spicy (it was about 10 degrees warmer than 'normal')! Beautiful nature on the road, you really love everything and one with nature, your family and the donkey. Our daughter is just 4. She also walked a few miles a day herself, but it was great that she could sit on Stella's back most of the time. We did the 7-day rest day and really enjoyed it. We took the day trips longer than we expected in advance, but still happy with this choice! The accommodations are super, which is nice that they are so different. The food is delicious and the people at the accommodations so friendly and helpful. All credit to Tinne, she was very helpful when our daughter was sick!

Engels This summer we have made a fantastic trip with donkey Fiamma! What an adventure! The walks are sometimes tough, but because the children take turns doing good on the donkey! The route goes off the beaten track and that makes it extra special! The nights are really good, the tents and swimming pools are nice and the food is nothing short of fantastic! We have received a very hospitable welcome. An adventure that we did not want to miss and a nice addition to our tour through Tuscany!

We look back on a wonderful trip in Tuscany. We enjoyed the donkey, the beautiful nature, the delicious food, the beautiful accommodations, the beautiful weather and the hospitality of the Tuscans. For the second year in a row we were on the road with Stella. A sweet Donkey that we will definitely miss again in the coming year.

Hello Tinne and co. We really enjoyed our four-day trip with Fiamma, a bit stubborn but sweet donkey. Every time we passed a bunch of delicious wild fennel, she needed some encouragement, even if it went up steeply, but that didn't only apply to the donkey, but also to our youngest. After giving up (warm !, steep) and the adventure (forest paths, river crossings, wolves (?) ...) we were able to appreciate the hospitable receptions and tasty meals even more. It was an unforgettable luxury adventure πŸ˜‰

Dear Tinne, What a very nice way to get to know the Tuscan landscape! On day 1 we and the donkey had to get used to each other and the heat and height differences were a bit disappointing to us, but the days after that we really enjoyed being on the road together and the beautiful nature. The agriturismi were fantastic too: very friendly people everywhere, nice swimming pools and great food! Many thanks for organizing. Greetings, Marco, Maaike, Pieke, Aart and Feikje

Our journey was beautiful but very adventurous. Somehow our GPS had taken a different route as planned 16km instead of 9km with our children aged 2 and 5 years. Wherever we went wrong a number of times, this made a long trip. But it was very beautiful and the kids loved it! I think we had the two nicest donkeys out there, Fiamma and Stella.

hello Tinne, actually we would prefer not to post a response to be able to keep all those beautiful locations to ourselves, but that would do you little honor. So hence: it was a vacation that made a big impact on us, nice sweet donkey (carolina) who likes everything, beautiful surroundings, great hospitable guest addresses, amazingly good food, a thousand thanks for sharing this with us. Certainly again.

Hello Tinne, We are now back in the Netherlands but I want to thank you for the donkey ride. We had a wonderful time with the 2 families. What a sweet donkey. The walks were fortunately not always on the beaten track which made it very nice. It is also wonderful to arrive in the afternoon in a warm bath due to the friendly welcome at the overnight addresses. So many thanks for the organization.

Hi Tinne! Thank you very much for our wonderful days and for the help with the rainy day. We enjoyed it though we were pretty broken after the walking days. The accommodation addresses made up for a lot. The hospitality and the food gave us enough energy to saddle up Carolina and Selvaggia again the next day. What a sweet, tough and moving animals they are. We enjoyed. Thank you. Love, Diederik

Okay, we've been home for a while (our 6-day hike was early June) but what a survival trip (it had mostly rained before) on impossible mud trails, loose rocks, rain and thunderstorms, various river crossings, forests without path, even more forest and thorn bushes, snakes (4) and especially those on and down (it was really much heavier than we thought in advance)! But what an adventure and fantastic, different accommodations (from simple at the farm) and pizza-to-eat at the neighbors to a super deluxe winery with its own wines (delicious!) And luxury food. We still talk about it daily and will never again want a boring Europe-vacation-with-terrace-and-beach !! Thank you Tinne, for the good explanation and superb guidance!

Dear Tinne, It was a wonderful trip and very friendly accommodations! Carolina is a very nice donkey. She walks very good and is just a bit shy sometimes. With some friendly assistance she calms down very quickly. We loved her a lot! Many regards, Rosalinda and Manfred Thanks a lot

Just back from a five-day walking tour with family and friends in the beautiful unspoilt nature of Tuscany. By plane to Pisa, continue by bus to Pomarance and then with the help of 4 donkeys walk to different agriturismo. Nature, the accommodation, delicious food, the trip and the great organization: Unforgettable! Recommended!

Good morning, we are back in Germany and we miss Fiamma! I hope everything was fine with her and her sore tummy is healing again! Yes, our first day of hiking was quite an adventure and but on the second day we were pretty fast and were back at the meadow with a view already around 1pm! Fiamma was very sweet---- and she enjoyed a LOT of fresh grass and yellow flowers! πŸ™‚ We also enjoyed our agriturismos a lot . They were all very welcoming and we had very good food. Best wishes from Germany, Luca and Anette

Hi Tinne, Our children and we very much enjoyed our walk with Camelia through the beautiful Tuscan landscape. Although it was already from June, our boys still talk about it! They miss Camelia Everything was well arranged and the agriturismo's were super! We especially remembered the hospitable reception at fattoria di Libbiano. They were waiting for us with ice cream for the kids and cold drinks for us which was very welcome after a hot day! Highly recommended if you are looking for an alternative, active holiday! Thank you very much for the experience! Greetings Annelies, Stijn, Wout and Noah

It was always enjoy the pool after a day of walking in the oh so beautiful Tuscany! we had very hot days but all the more reason to go to bed early in the evening and spoil and prepare Otto in the early morning! What a very nice vacation this was. Our little man of 2.5 was totally in love with diaspora. Our sweet, stubborn and sometimes stubborn companion. Locations were great. Distances were easy to do (simple version due to son). Diaspora generally cooperated well. Only the steep forest path on day 2 was not her favorite πŸ˜‚. It is fantastic how such a small man also deals with diaspora: feeding, brushing, seeing if things are going well and saying goodnight. Recommended!

Together with Luc de Keersmaecker we did a four-day donkey trip with Selvaggia and Carolina; two nice docile donkeys with a healthy appetite (many snacking attempts along the way) ... just like all donkeys. We enjoyed new, beautiful landscapes every day and were pleasantly surprised every evening upon arrival at the agriturismo ... good food with one time even a real '15th August party'. We have already done many donkey rides but in terms of route description it really stood head and neck above it .. the GPS and the indication with colors are fantastic and made sure that it remained adventurous and yet practicable. A big congratulations to Tinne and the donkeys ... this is highly recommended.
