Hey Tinne, The children loved the weather. Diaspora and Fiamma did very well. The B and B's were all gems with a very friendly welcome. We had a relaxing and satisfying vacation. Many thanks

It was a great 7-day walking holiday (without donkeys). Beautiful select hiking trails completely in the beautiful nature of Tuscany. Great places to stay. Glad we did this walk in the spring, because of the beautiful flowers. It was tiring but definitely recommended!

Tuscany discovered in a unique way thanks to Altratoscana. Thank you Tinne for this great experience! A must for everyone, with or without children.

Hello Tinne, At the end of the donkey ride we have not spoken to you anymore. However, we would still like to share our experiences with you: - We have experienced the trip as very fun and also strenuous. The distances were doable for our children. Our youngest of 6 also did the majority (more than 80%) of the tour. The heat made the trip harder, we noticed. The 1st and 3rd day were the toughest. - The routes were easy to find with the GPS and we also barely went wrong. That was very nice. - Regarding the locations: o Incanto del Fiume: nice location, nice room and very friendly owners. The food was also very tasty o La Schezza: the location is nice on a hill when you arrive. The lady was very welcoming and also a great room here o Corte de’Butteri: the children really enjoyed the farm with all its animals. The residents were very hospitable. Nice location. o La Landuccia: Very hospitable people! Dinner was at a large table with all the guests present. That was fun! The children thought the tent was a wonderful place to sleep. A very nice place! In short: it was a wonderful experience. So thanks again for the organization!

Hello Tinne We arrived well at the riding school yesterday. We had a wonderful week with all fantastic overnight stays. (Very varied😊). The walks were occasionally waive, but it is a great concept that we enjoyed very much. We are now on the return trip to the Netherlands. Cordial greetings Giuseppe and Marja

Hi Tinne, We more than enjoyed our two days we were allowed to spend with Diaspora! She leaves a lasting impression and we miss her already. We brushed and cared for her one last time before she left for her friends after a last bar. We would like to thank you and Diaspora for the good care and the unforgettable experience! Wim & Kelly

What a fantastic week! Otherwise it didn't start without a fight ... Tuesday morning, bags filled, donkey saddled, walking shoes on, sunscreen lubricated ... 500m far and then she stopped ... After removing all the tricks from our box of tricks for 1.5 hours , 2 children where weeping was closer than laughter, ourselves wet with sweat and trying to hide a slight despair, we still asked for help. Thanks to the resolute Maurizio and his pick-up, we were able to continue on our own after about 1 km. Oof! 4 day trips in a beautiful landscape, hardly anyone encountered along the way, physically a challenge, but achievable for our children (6 and 8 years old, with the youngest regularly on the donkey), great agriturismos (certainly Incante del fiume and La landoucia! ... so hospitable, such good food, such beautiful locations). The donkey makes it extra adventurous, you have to be busy with it, you need help with it, help the children take care of it, bear a bit of responsibility. The combination of the pleasure of walking, the tiredness towards the end of the day, the ease and difficulties of the donkey, the satisfaction after a day and the indulgence that you experience in the agriturismos made it an unforgettable week for us !

Wow, how beautiful Tuscany was! Via the mapped out route you will really come across the most beautiful, unspoilt nature with fantastic views. The overnight stays were all excellent! Welcoming people and delicious food in the most beautiful locations. We had the 2 donkeys Camelia and Emiliana with us during the 4-day trek. The first day was a bit difficult and we got to know them well and their stubborn characteristics. The remaining 3 days went much smoother and they belonged completely with us. Our children from 4 years and 5 years enjoyed it !!!

Ciao Tinne, Back in wet and cold Belgium, I long for wonderfully warm Tuscany. As promised, here's our little report. To walk: The distances were certainly not too long. They were beautiful walking routes with beautiful views. It was also good that there were many pieces in the forest and in the shade. The people from the agriturismos were well informed. We made a detour through Sassa and Libbiano, which we certainly thought was worth the visit. Accomodations: Incanto del Fiume: Delicious food and incredibly hospitable people. Great place to stay and very family and cozy. Corte de Butteri: Warm welcome. Basic accommodation. Very friendly people. Villetta: Top location! What a garden and swimming pool. Delicious wine drunk and good food. Also a friendly welcome. La Landuccia: Top location! Wonderfully quiet and very beautiful. Very nice people and good food. We also went to the baths, sulfur springs and the waterfall. Guado al Sole: A small dream paradise. What a swimming pool and luxury! Also a warm and friendly welcome. Fauna: 3 snakes, 1 turtle, small wild boar (and a growling mum heard, fortunately not seen), crab, bird of prey. Luggage transport: went smoothly. Thanks for the nice holiday! Natalie & Lies

Fantastic experience with Diaspora, "our" donkey. Super welcome in a wonderful environment. In some places you really have a feeling of being alone in the world during the walking tour and the people of La Landuccia are also wonderfully sympathetic. Now, a good month later, our youngest daughter (2 years old) still says a few times every day, "slide porridge, eat no" (which means that the donkey must walk and not eat). Really a great experience!

Hi Tinne. At the end of June we made a fantastic 5 day walking tour with the sweetest donkey in the world, Diaspora. You had worked out a great route for us. Beautiful mountains, unspoiled nature, but also the beautiful, typical Tuscan landscape. The Agriturismi were all excellent: welcoming and gastronomic. It was full enjoyment, both for us and for our 3 year old son.

We have had a fantastic donkey trek! Adventurous trip, beautiful nature, very hospitable agriturismos and a super donkey. Tinne is also very involved and accessible during the trip, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

In the last May holiday we traveled for 4 days with our family and the donkey diaspora. Diaspora carried our luggage. We enjoyed the beautiful varied tour. The accommodations were very nice, the owners were very welcoming and the food excellent. Small downside is that the first day was way too long.

Hello Christine, Thank you for your response and the nice pictures. Your first day was indeed too heavy especially because it had rained too long the day before and there was a lot of water in the river. As a result, it did not progress along the river and you had to walk a long way to the agriturismo. In the meantime we have marked the path along the river and the crossings so that that route becomes much easier. regards Tinne

Tinne, We really enjoyed our walking holiday in Tuscany. The overnight addresses were wonderful, from simple to very luxurious! The walks were sometimes challenging, sometimes difficult due to the height differences. As you said, without GPS you can forget this. That is why it is wise to mark the routes so that you have a second check! For the participants and certainly the youth there will also be some sort of tracking! The Landuccia - Guado route was beautifully marked, with a red / white mark every few hundred meters. Again, we enjoyed it very much, despite our lost adventure! You can also prevent this with marks! If you miss out, like us, you might end up in a dangerous situation where help is not immediately available! Thank you very much on behalf of Winy and me and we wish you every success! Regards.

Dear Guus, I am pleased that you enjoyed the trip and the accommodations! When you were on the wrong route, you also had the right response to just return and ask me for a ride. It is good to know that a team is ready to help in an emergency. Moreover, we started to mark the paths in orange-blue. As you write, it is fun for the children to search with and it is an additional security in addition to the map and the route on the GPS. Sincerely Tinne
